WAX MANNEQUIN: Very obviously one of the most unique performers you'll ever witness! Not from Vantown (Hamilton, Ontario). An intense "artist" in the truest form (he's made some very jaded music folk happy). His lyrics are refreshingly offbeat and abstract. His somewhat prog-rock leanings (without the wanking or pretentiousness), are hugely oblivious to trends or fashion! Anyone who dares to sing ..."all of these deseases that you bring from overseas will be mine....all mine!", or dares to invite someone to "F**ck Up The Night" gets high marks in stabbing the blandness of the mainstream in the chest with the righteous musical steak! "I MUST ACHIEVE" is what I hear, and good on him!

Welkin
: Transendental, spacious songs that take you on a most inspired journey.

Wetspots: if you need a little kinkiness in your lounge music, Cass King and one time Orchid Highway founder, John Woods are your people! www.wetspotsmusic.com
