By the way, BOCEPHUS KING'S FIRST ANNUAL SAVAGE CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR was a roaring success! Most everyone showed up and had a blast, including a very- pumped BRADLEY, the very inspired KEN BEATTIE, some lovely muse from JON WOOD, BELINDA BRUCE & JANE GOWAN, some spine-tingling, angelic offerings from COCO LOVE ALCORN, the fine tunesmithing of BOB KEMMIS, a wonderfully quirky turn by ELAINE TAYLOR, a more acoustic turn by CASSIE FORD and a member or 2 from VINCENT BLACK SHADOW and FRITZ and friends, a long-awaited return of KRITOS & PANOS GRAMES to theses parts, plus various other guest spots with and without BOCEPHUS KING, whose band of doom included some of the guests including: MARY ANCHETA on keys, TIM TWEEDALE on pedal steel and trumpet, STEVE DAWSON on guitar, DAVE SPIDAL on upright bass, and LIAM MacDONALD on drums. AARON CHAPMAN was there too, drinking for two, as I was just insanly happy to be there MCing and showed it.

I think the unexpected and captivating impromptu performance by SHELLEY CAMPBELL helped. She looked fantastic! All dolled up to the 9's, groovin' away in a gorgeous black dress. Yes, the show did raise money for the Food Bank and the Empty Stocking Fund! $800 and a good portion of food was collected! Thanks to all who helped make the show a big success and the evening go, albeit late, as smoothly as humanly possible including: soundman SEAN, CINDY & TED at IMU PRODUCTIONS, KATE AT TONIC RECORDS, the bar staff: CHRIS, CHRISTINE & BROOKE! AMANDA at the door at THE MEDIA CLUB, and to ALL THE PERFORMERS! IT WAS EASILY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF 2004!!
